This 1963 Chevrolet Corvette split-window coupe as refurbished in the late 1970s. The car is powered by a 327ci L75 V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission and is finished in Riverside Red over black vinyl upholstery. Features include 15″ turbine-style wheels with three-eared knock-off spinners, power-assisted brakes, power steering, air conditioning, power windows, and concealed headlights.

The 327ci L75 V8 was equipped from the factory with a single four-barrel carburetor for a factory rating of 300 horsepower. A tune-up was performed in preparation for the sale. The engine stamping includes sequence 113179, which matches the last six digits of the vehicle’s serial number. The fiberglass body left the factory finished in Riverside Red (923) and was repainted during the aforementioned refurbishment in the 1970s. It features flip-up headlamps, fender vents, quad tail lamps, chrome bumperettes, and dual exhaust tips that exit through the rear valance.

The 15″ turbine-style wheels wear three-eared knock-off spinners and are mounted with 205/75 Firestone Supreme Si thin-whitewall tires. The C2 was the first Corvette to offer fully independent suspension, with upper and lower control arms at the front and a three-link setup with a transverse leaf spring at the rear. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by four-wheel power-assisted drums. A spare set of factory wheel covers is included in the sale.

The cabin was refreshed during the refurbishment and features two bucket seats upholstered in black vinyl (STD) as well as color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Amenities include air conditioning, a heater, power windows, and lap belts.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5,300-rpm redline as well as gauges for amperage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level.

The five-digit odometer shows 9k miles, the odometer has rolled over at least once.
