This 1963 Chevrolet Corvette is a split-window coupe finished in black cherry metallic over tan leather in 2001. The car underwent a subsequent refurbishment that included an exterior color change, an interior refresh, and the installation of a 350ci V8 crate engine mated to a Tremec five-speed manual transmission. Additional equipment includes an aluminum radiator, a dual exhaust system, four-wheel disc brakes, and 15″ wheels as well as a Delco AM/FM radio.

The replacement 350ci V8 crate engine is equipped with a single carburetor topped by a chrome air cleaner housing. Additional features include an aluminum radiator and a dual exhaust system. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a Tremec five-speed manual transmission.

Delivered new in Saddle Tan (932A), the body was repainted in the current black cherry metallic finish during the refurbishment. Cosmetic details include a split rear window along with a left-side mirror, concealed headlights, faux hood vents, chrome split bumpers, and dual exhaust tips that exit through the rear valance.

The C2 was the first Corvette to offer fully independent suspension, with upper and lower control arms at the front and a transverse leaf spring in the rear. This example is equipped with 15″ steel wheels wearing full covers and Uniroyal thin-whitewall tires.

The cabin features bucket seats reupholstered in tan leather joined by color-coordinated treatments for the dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Equipment includes a center-mounted clock, a heater and defroster, and a vertically oriented Delco AM/FM radio.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, battery charge, coolant temperature, and oil pressure.

The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 12k miles. True mileage is unknown.
