This 1962 Chrysler 300 two-door hardtop was refurbished and has been refinished in red over black. Power comes from a 383ci V8 mated to a three-speed automatic transmission with push-button gear selection. Other features include pillarless windows, chrome trim, 14″ steel wheels with covers, and an AM radio.

The B-engine 383ci V8 utilizes a carburetor with an electric choke. Work in preparation for sale have included adjusting the carburetor and performing a tuneup. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission.

The restyled Sport Series 300 replaced the Chrysler Windsor for the 1962 model year, and this example was refinished in red. Features include offset headlights, chrome-finished trim, vertically curved taillights, side moldings, and dual exhaust pipes that terminate under the rear bumper.

Black 14″ steel wheels wear covers and are mounted with 215/75 whitewall radial tires. Service in preparation for sale included replacing the wheel cylinders for the power-assisted drum brakes.

The interior features black upholstery on the seating surfaces. Gear selection is handled via push buttons on the left-hand side of the dash, and other equipment includes air conditioning, a Golden Tone by Chrysler AM radio, and power windows.

A two-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of instrumentation that includes a curved 120-mph speedometer positioned above four integrated auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 46k miles, true mileage is unknown.
