Refurbishment work on this 1962 Chevrolet Corvette have been completed in 2020, and it included the installation of a replacement 327ci V8 equipped with Rochester mechanical fuel injection, a refinish of the exterior in black, and the reupholstering of the interior in red. Additional equipment includes a four-speed manual transmission, a Positraction limited-slip differential, a black soft top, 15″ steel wheels, a heavy-duty-style brake system, and a dash-mounted rearview mirror.

The replacement 327ci V8 have been bored .030″ over and is equipped with a rebuilt Rochester mechanical fuel injection system. Off-road mufflers were fitted during the refurbishment and notes that the engine stamp pad has been re-stamped. Power is routed to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission and a Positraction limited-slip differential.

The car received an NCRS Top Flight Award at an August 2022 chapter meet. The NCRS judging sheets, an NCRS Shipping Data report, and manufacturer’s literature are included in the sale.

The car is refinished in black and features a replacement black soft top and windshield. Additional features include quad headlights, color-matched coves, and polished bumpers. The windshield was replaced and the polished trim have been replaced or replated.

The 15″ steel wheels feature dog-dish hubcaps and are mounted with 6.70-15 Firestone-branded tires. Stopping power is provided by a heavy-duty-style brake system with front brake ducts, vented backing plates, and finned brake drums, and a pair of reproduction “elephant ears” scoops are included in the sale.

The two bucket seats are reupholstered in red vinyl, and interior equipment includes a dash-mounted rearview mirror and an analog clock.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature, amperage, oil pressure, and fuel level.

The five-digit odometer shows 45k miles.
