This 1958 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham is one of 304 examples produced for the model year. A mechanical refresh completed in 2017 by Bob Mosier Restorations included a service of the air suspension. The car is finished in maroon over white and gray leather upholstery, and power comes from a 365ci V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes triple two-barrel carburetors, power-assisted four-wheel drum brakes, a brushed stainless steel roof, rear coach doors, power windows, air conditioning, Mouton carpets, and a transistorized AM radio.
The 365ci V8 features triple two-barrel carburetors as well as a gold air cleaner and valve covers. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed Hydra-Matic automatic transmission. Factory vanity items including magnetic shot glasses and Arpege by Lanvin perfume are included in the sale.
The collection of spare parts includes a water pump, exhaust flex hoses, air diaphragms, and air suspension hoses and fittings.
Deriving its styling from the Orleans and Park Avenue Motorama concepts of 1953 and 1954, the Brougham was hand-assembled by Cadillac when new. This example is finished in Maharani Maroon (152) and features quad headlights, “Dagmar” bumper guards, a brushed stainless steel pillarless roof, rear coach doors, and a power-operated trunk.
The Kelsey-Hayes forged aluminum wheels are mounted with 8.40/8.20–15 US Royal bias-ply whitewall tires. A matching spare wheel is stowed with a Vogue whitewall tire under a cover in the trunk. The Eldorado Brougham rode on a 126″ wheelbase and was delivered from the factory with an air suspension that was serviced by Bob Mosier Restorations in 2017. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted drums at all four corners.
The cabin features twin bench seats trimmed in white leather with gray Parisienne cloth accents and Mouton carpets. Amenities include air conditioning, power-operated windows, a power-operated front bench with memory, power door locks, an Autronic Eye headlight dimmer, a transistorized AM radio, fold-down armrests, and lap belts. A spare roll of gray Parisienne cloth is included in the sale.
The two-spoke steering wheel with a chrome horn ring frames a 120-mph speedometer and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, generator charging status, and fuel level.
The five-digit odometer shows 43k miles, total mileage is unknown.
