This 1956 Mercedes-Benz 190SL was restored by East Coast Restorations. The car is finished in black over red leather and powered by a 1.9-liter inline-four paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a black convertible top, 13″ steel wheels with body-color hubcaps, chrome bumpers with overriders, a Becker Europa radio, a dashboard-mounted rearview mirror, and bucket seats.

The 1.9-liter M121 inline-four made 104 horsepower and 105 lb-ft of torque when it was new and was rebuilt, it was resealed, and the carburetors were also rebuilt. The four-speed manual transmission was rebuilt

Previously finished in white, the car was disassembled, placed on a rotisserie, and refinished in black. The black convertible top was installed by the Eclectic Motor Company, while the bumpers and trim were re-chromed by Speed & Sport Chrome Plating.

Steel 13″ wheels wear chrome trim rings, hubcaps with body-color accents, and Michelin Radial tires. The car is equipped with a double-wishbone front suspension, rear swing axles with coil springs, and power-assisted drum brakes.

The cabin was reupholstered by the Eclectic Motor Company and features red leather bucket seats as well as matching door panels and contrasting black dashboard trim. Amenities include an analog clock, a heater, a dashboard-mounted rearview mirror, and a Becker Europa radio.

The two-spoke steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a 140-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer as well as gauges for oil pressure, water temperature, and fuel level.
