This 1955 Chevrolet 210 is a 2-door wagon that was refurbished and modified by California-based specialists Burton Classics.
The work was completed in 2007 and included mechanical and cosmetic modifications such as installation of a 400ci V8 and 700R 4-speed automatic transmission, paintwork by Mark Mahood, custom interior work, a suspension drop, and more.
A balanced and blueprinted 400ci small-block V8 sends power through a 700R 4-speed automatic transmission.
A partial list of engine upgrades includes: Deburred and painted block, cylinder heads, Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor, intake manifold, Edelbrock fuel pump, custom lines, Ceramic-coated headers, Flowmaster exhaust, Holley spark plug wires, High-torque starter, Custom radiator and hoses, dual electric fans, High-volume water pump, Saginaw 605 power steering box with late-model power steering reservoir.
Undercarriage modifications include a custom-cut driveshaft, tubular upper and lower A-arms, 2″ drop spindles, a front sway bar, performance shocks, and vented front disc brakes with a dual-circuit master cylinder.
The frame was painted gloss black and polished stainless hardware was installed;
The car was dropped 3″ in the front and 4″ in the rear over polished 17″ Intro wheels, which are shod in BFGoodrich tires.
A power antenna was fitted for the aftermarket stereo.
The interior is finished in grey with dual-tone leather seats front and rear.
The headliner, door panels, side walls, and kick panels are also trimmed in grey leather and the floor is covered in square-weave carpeting.
Amenities include power steering with a tilt column, power brakes, electric windows and door locks, an in-dash CD player with remote CD changer, and a Vintage Air A/C unit.
The stock instrument cluster has been replaced with an aftermarket unit, and billet aluminum control knobs were installed in place of the originals.
A set of Lokar pedals and a custom transmission shift lever have been fitted.
The audio system utilizes a Custom Crossfire speaker set and amplifier, and a subwoofer and dual-battery setup are mounted in the trunk.
The car has been garage stored and driven 5,200 miles since the build was completed.
