A replacement 429ci V8 is equipped with an aluminum intake manifold, a four-barrel carburetor, MSD ignition components, an aftermarket camshaft, and tubular exhaust headers.
The engine have been bored 0.030 over and was fitted with reconditioned connecting rods by Fowler’s Engines, Inc.
The fuel pump, battery, carburetor, and distributor have been replaced in preparation for sale.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a rebuilt four-speed Toploader transmission and a 9″ rear axle with a locking differential and 3.00:1 gearing.
The fuel tank has been replaced with an aluminum unit.
The truck was refinished in blue during the multi-year refurbishment after the installation of fiberglass hood, front and inner fenders, and running boards as well as a replacement bed and tailgate.
The hood has been converted to hinge at the front, and additional equipment includes a wood-plank bed floor, a front grille sourced from a 1955 F-100, and dual exhaust outlets.
Chrome American Racing wheels are mounted with BFGoodrich tires.

The cab has been refurbished with black racing seats, a body-color metal dashboard, black carpets and floor mats, lap belts, manual-crank windows, and a knife-handle Hurst shifter.
A Grant banjo-style steering wheel frames AutoMeter gauges including a 120-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for voltage, fuel level, oil pressure, and water temperature.
The digital odometer shows 3k miles, and true mileage is unknown.
