Work included replacement metal body panels and a repaint in Midnight Gold, as well as installing a 350ci V8, a three-speed automatic transmission, a four-barrel Edelbrock carburetor, Camaro rear-end components, rack-and-pinion steering, front disc brakes, a one-piece curved windshield, wooden bed planks, bucket seats, and more.
The body was removed from the frame prior to having replacement aftermarket metal panels fitted to the grille, fenders, and bed box.
A repaint in Midnight Gold with clearcoat was subsequently performed, and reassembly have included replacing numerous nuts and bolts with stainless-steel items, as well as installing a custom curved windshield.
Billet Specialties 17″ wheels are mounted with Michelin tires, and custom trailer hitch is fitted.
The suspension features a rack-and-pinion steering conversion with disc brakes up front, and the frame was reportedly boxed during the refurbishment.
The stepside bed was fitted with wood planks separated by polished stainless–steel strips and bolts.
The interior is fitted with a pair of black leather bucket seats sourced from a 2002 Volkswagen Beetle, while features include a color-matched dashboard, air conditioning, crank windows, and an Alpine CD player.
Other work have included installing new wiring throughout.
