This 1940 Dodge VF-32 is a modified pickup powered by a 331ci Hemi V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and a Detroit Locker rear end.

The 331ci Hemi V8 features a Hot Heads dual-plane high-rise intake manifold topped with a Holley four-barrel carburetor along with a pair of vintage Flyrite valve covers.

Additional equipment includes an Iskenderian camshaft, Davis Unified Ignition, and a Holley fuel pump and regulator.

The exhaust features custom-built ceramic-coated headers linked to dual Flowmaster mufflers with electric cutouts.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed 700R4 automatic transmission and a 9″ Detroit Locker rear end equipped with 3.55:1 gears.

The 1940 cab was chopped during the build, and the truck sits over a custom-built frame.

Additional features include a 1937 Essex Terraplane nose, 9″ Ford headlights, a body-color steel bed lid, and a 2″ hitch receiver with seven- and four-pin wiring connectors.

Staggered-diameter American Racing Salt Flat alloy wheels wear Firestone bias-ply tires in sizes 16″×8.90″ up front and 15″×14″ at the rear.

Power-assisted brakes are equipped with front discs, rear drums, and adjustable bias, while the adjustable air suspension is controlled via a remote system in the cab.

The interior features a dark saddle color scheme on the bucket seats, door panels, headliner, and transmission tunnel as well as tan carpeting and a body-color metal dashboard.

Power steering, a Lokar shifter, a Vintage Air climate-control system, and a modern stereo equipped with Apple Car Play and linked to an amplifier and Cadence speakers are equipped, as are 12-volt power plugs fitted in the glovebox and between the seatbacks.

Replacement Dolphin instruments set behind the tilt steering column include a 140-mph speedometer and a tachometer as well as four auxiliary gauges.

The six-digit mechanical odometer displays 11k miles, overall mileage unknown.
