This 1934 Ford five-window coupe is a steel-bodied, full-fendered street rod that is powered by a 355ci Chevy V8 crate motor. Additional equipment includes independent front suspension, power steering, front disc brakes, 15” wire wheels, adjustable coilovers, and a Lokar shifter. The engine was installed after the the seller acquired the car in 2017 and is equipped with an aluminum Edelbrock intake manifold, a 750 CFM carburetor, and PerTronix ignition. A TH350 transmission from TCI was also installed along with a replacement fuel tank, stainless-steel headers, Procar bucket seats, and a Vintage Air A/C system.
The 355ci V8 was sourced from BluePrint Engines, it features an Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake manifold, 750 CFM carburetor, a PerTronix Flame Thrower distributor, and finned valve covers. Stainless-steel headers flow into a dual exhaust system, and the seller states that a Walker radiator has been added along with an electric pusher fan and a fuel tank from Tanks, Inc. A battery cutoff switch is located in the trunk.
A TH350 three-speed automatic transmission from TCI Automotive sends power to the rear wheels via a Ford 9” rear end.
The body was modified with a 3″ chop, ribbed roof panel, filled cowl vent, recessed license plate box, and fiberglass deck lid before it was repainted in matte black.
Vintique 15” wire wheels are finished in black and wear Cragar-branded aluminum hubcaps. BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires measuring 205/60 are mounted up front, while 255/70 Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires are mounted out back. A Mustang II-style front subframe with power-assisted disc brakes has been added, while the rear suspension features a four-link setup. The car is equipped with power steering, and QA1 adjustable coilovers have been fitted at all four corners.
Procar bucket seats are trimmed in black vinyl and complemented by color-coordinated door panels and carpets. A Vintage Air air conditioning system is mounted in a console behind the seats along with a Bluetooth-capable JVC receiver and two speakers. A Lokar shifter has been added along with door lock levers with bear-claw latches.
A banjo-style steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer from Classic Instruments, and other gauges include a voltmeter, fuel-level indicator, oil-pressure gauge, water-temperature gauge, and a centrally mounted tachometer.
The six-digit odometer shows 1,300 miles, total mileage is unknown.
