The steel bodywork and fenders were refinished in blue, the interior was retrimmed with tan leather upholstery, and a flathead V8 was installed and fitted with an Edelbrock intake manifold, Offenhauser cylinder heads, triple Stromberg carburetors, and aftermarket exhaust headers.
