This 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 was refurbished with work including the installation of a fuel-injected Roush 427ci V8 and a four-speed automatic transmission. Additional equipment includes a limited-slip differential, Baer disc brakes, power steering, a coilover suspension, headers, a Magnaflow exhaust, a hood scoop and pins, 17″ and 18″ Foose wheels, air conditioning, and a CD stereo.
The fuel-injected Roush 427ci V8 was installed, and work since 2018 has included servicing the fuel injection system and replacing the head gaskets, intake gaskets, and exhaust gaskets as well as the fluids, filters, battery, battery cables, spark plugs, starter, belts, hoses, radiator, and a section of fuel line.
Power is routed to the rear wheels via a Ford 4R70W automatic transmission with a COMPUSHIFT shift controller and a Traction-Lok differential.
The transmission was rebuilt in 2018, at which time a performance clutch is said to have been fitted along with nitrided steel plates, extra wide power bands, and a larger-diameter servo.
The car is finished in blue with a black hood and features a Mach 1 grill and graphics, a hood scoop and pins, dual side mirrors, a rear spoiler, and dual exhaust outlets.
The hood was refinished.
The 17″ and 18″ Foose wheels are wrapped in 225/45 front and 295/40 rear Nitto G2 tires, the car is equipped with rack-and-pinion power steering as well as Baer multi-piston calipers with cross-drilled and slotted rotors.
The suspension features front and rear coilovers and a four-link setup at the rear.
The cabin features front bucket seats upholstered in black vinyl with red accents.
Additional appointments include a floor-mounted center console, a B&M Hammer shifter, an aftermarket air conditioning system, and a Pioneer CD stereo with aftermarket speakers.
The three-spoke leather-trimmed steering wheel frames Classic Instruments Velocity instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges.
The five-digit odometer shows 623 miles, true mileage is unknown.
