This 1970 Ford Mustang was refurbished approximately 12 years ago by Barry’s Speed Shop, and modified by installing a fuel-injected 427ci small-block V8 paired with a Tremec five-speed manual transmission. The car is finished in red over tan leather and equipped with a Global West QA-1 front coilover system, a TCI Engineering tri-link rear suspension, a Currie 9′ rear end, Baer multi-piston calipers, Schott Performance wheels, and long-tube headers. Additional equipment includes a hood scoop, tucked bumpers, air conditioning, power windows, a billet shifter, and an AM/FM stereo with a trunk-mounted CD changer.

The 427ci small-block V8 was built by Roush Performance and is equipped with electronic fuel injection, velocity stacks, polished finned valve covers, long-tube headers, and an aluminum radiator. The engine bay features a fabricated and stamped body-color surround and shock tower suspension braces. Service completed in preparation for sale included replacing the spark plugs, radiator hoses, coolant, and valve cover gaskets. The starter was replaced in 2023, while the tensioner pulley and drive belt were replaced in 2024.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec five-speed manual transmission and a Currie 9″ rear end with 3.50 gearing. Work completed in 2019 included resealing the transmission, resurfacing the flywheel, and replacing the clutch and a pinion seal. Dual Magnaflow mufflers are fitted.

The car is inished in House of Kolor Blue Blood Red with gold racing stripes outlined in black that extend into the cowling and trunk areas. Exterior modifications include a Mach 1-style hood scoop, a billet fuel filler cap, the deletion of the side marker and backup lights, painted taillight surrounds, tucked bumpers, and exhaust outlets that exit through the rear valance. The front bodywork was disassembled and partially refinished to replace and realign the fender extensions in 2020.

Schott Performance Accelerator wheels measure 18″ up front and 19″ at the rear and are mounted with 225/40 and 275/40 Hankook Ventus V12 evo2 tires. Suspension modifications are include a Global West QA-1 front coilover system and a TCI Engineering tri-link with torque arm assembly and coilovers at the rear. Braking is handled by Baer multi-piston front calipers and slotted and drilled rotors at all four corners. Stainless-steel brake lines are fitted. A Baer master cylinder was installed in 2019, while the power steering fluid was replaced in 2024.

The interior was modified by Gabe’s Custom Interiors and features front bucket seats sourced from a late model Mustang and individual rear seats upholstered in brown leather with ventilation grommets. Matching leather covers the center console, dashboard, headliner, and door panels, while color-coordinated square-weave wool carpeting lines the floor. Equipment includes air conditioning, an aluminum shifter and grab handles, power windows, and an AM/FM stereo. A CD changer is located in the trunk along with a relocated Optima battery.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames AutoMeter Sport-Comp instrumentation including a speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges.

The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 26k miles, total chassis mileage is unknown.
