This 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1 is reported to be the first for the model year equipped with the 429ci Super Cobra Jet V8 and Drag Pack equipment options, and it was refurbished in 2022. Finished in Bright Blue Metallic with silver accents, the car is equipped with blue vinyl upholstery, a four-speed manual transmission, a Traction-Lok differential, front and rear spoilers, power steering, power-assisted front disc brakes, and a Hurst shifter.

The 429ci Super Cobra Jet Ram-Air V8 features was factory rated at 375 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque. The optional Drag Pack added a high-lift camshaft with mechanical lifters as well as cap-screw connecting rods, and a modified crankshaft, flywheel, and vibration damper.

Power is routed to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission and a 3.91:1 Traction-Lok differential.

The body was refinished in Bright Blue Metallic under prior ownership and features silver stripes and accents along with Mach 1 and 429 Ram Air graphics. Details include a painted front bumper, front and rear spoilers, dual exhaust outlets, and a Ram Air hood with dual scoops.

The 14″ steel wheels feature polished covers and are mounted with F70-14 Firestone Wide Oval Super Sports tires. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The seller states the front and rear flex brake hoses, and primary parking brake cable were replaced in preparation for the sale.

The cabin features high-back bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in two-tone blue vinyl accompanied by coordinated carpets and door panels as well as woodgrain trim. Interior appointments include a Hurst shifter, an AM radio, and a heater.

The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and a fuel-level gauge, while gauges for oil pressure, alternator charge, and coolant temperature are mounted in the center stack.

The five-digit odometer shows 80k miles.
