This 1964 Triumph TR4 is powered by a 2,138cc inline-four equipped with dual SU HS6 carburetors and joined to a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive. The removable Surrey hardtop features both an alloy roof panel and a soft center section, and the car underwent a six-year refurbishment in the mid-1990s involving a repaint in black, an interior retrim, and a chassis overhaul. Dayton knock-off wire wheels, a stainless-steel exhaust system, and three-point seatbelts have been added, and the water pump and various fluids have been replaced in preparation for sale.

The 2,138cc inline-four is equipped with dual SU HS6 carburetors and a chrome valve cover. Service have included adjusting the valves, installing a stainless-steel exhaust system, and replacing the water pump and coolant hoses. An oil change and chassis lubrication were performed in preparation for sale.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission equipped with a Laycock de Normanville overdrive unit that is engaged by an aftermarket toggle switch located on the right side of the steering column. The frame and suspension components were powdercoated in black in the 1990s, and the transmission was rebuilt. The differential fluid was replaced, also the differential fluid was replaced.

The BMIHT certificate indicates that the car was dispatched for the North American export market on November 11, 1964, and the document lists factory equipment and identification numbers.

An alloy roof panel in need of refurbishment will accompany the car.

The car left the factory in Signal Red (32) and was refinished in black sometime prior to 1990. During the aforementioned refurbishment, the body was removed from the frame, the trunk was patched, and the passenger-side rocker panel was replaced before the car was again repainted in black. The Surrey hardtop is currently fitted with a removable black soft center section.

Dayton 60-spoke 15” wire wheels were installed with replacement splines and two-eared spinners, and 165/80 Classic LL800 radial tires have been mounted. A matching spare is stored in the trunk. Stopping power is provided by disc brakes up front and drums out back.

The cabin was reupholstered in black with white piping, and the dash top and wood fascia were also replaced at that time. Three-point front seatbelts have been added, and black rubber mats line the footwells.

The banjo-style steering wheel fronts a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The speedometer and the tachometer were rebuilt and calibrated in 2020.

The five-digit odometer shows 70k miles, and total mileage is unknown.
