This 1970 Ford Bronco was refurbished and modified. Work included the installation of a Modular Motorsports Racing-built 5.0-liter Coyote V8 paired with a rebuilt ZF five-speed manual transmission and an Atlas II dual-range transfer case. The truck has been repainted in dark metallic red with a matte black hardtop, and the interior has been refreshed with black leather upholstery and power-adjustable seats sourced from a 2017 Jeep. Additional modifications include body and suspension lifts, a Classic Auto air conditioning system, a Warn winch, JL Audio sound system, four-wheel disc brakes, LED lights, and 17” Fuel Zephyr wheels with 35” Toyo A/T tires.
The 5.0-liter Coyote V8 features a Modular Motorsports Racing forged shortblock along with an upgraded oil pump, cylinder heads, camshaft sockets, and Bronco-branded spark plug covers. The ZF five-speed manual transmission have been sourced from a 2000 F-250 and rebuilt, and power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a twin-stick Atlas II dual-range transfer case and a Dana 44 differential with 4.56:1 gearing.
The frame was reinforced around the steering box and was subsequently powder coated black.
Originally finished in green, the body was removed from the frame, stripped, and fitted with a replacement hood, passenger-side front fender, tailgate, and floors prior to a two-stage repaint in dark metallic red with a matte black hardtop and tailgate garnish.
Black fender flares were also added, and additional features include LED lighting, aftermarket bumpers with an integrated Warn front winch, and automatically-retractable running boards.
Black-finished 17” Fuel Zephyr wheels are wrapped in Toyo A/T Open Country tires sized 35”x12.5” at all four corners.
A matching spare is affixed to the swing-out rear carrier, and stopping power is provided by hydraulically-assisted four-wheel disc brakes.
A 2″ body lift and 2.5″ suspension lift kit were added, and the front axle is equipped with Warn manually-locking hubs.
An alignment was recently performed and the brakes were bled.
The cabin has been fitted with power-adjustable front seats sourced from a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee and reupholstered in black leather with quilted inserts and red embroidery and stitching.
A matching rear bench and door panels are installed, and Bronco-branded mats line the footwells.
Additional features include a roll cage, a Classic Auto air conditioning system, power-assisted steering, a Sony touchscreen head unit.
The rear bench seat flips up to reveal JL Audio components that include a five-channel amplifier and subwoofer installed underneath.
An aftermarket wood-rimmed three-spoke steering wheel fronts a body-colored dashboard housing aluminum switchgear and a combination gauge with an inset 120-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and displays for fuel level, voltage, coolant temperature, and oil pressure.
The digital odometer shows just under 270 miles. Total mileage is unknown.
