This 1967 Chevrolet C10 is a standard-cab, two-wheel drive pickup with a Fleetside bed. The truck is finished in red and white over matching vinyl, and power is from a 327ci V8 backed by a Powerglide automatic transmission. Equipment includes power steering and brakes, three-abreast bucket seats, a dash-mounted clock, and other period accessories such as a roof-mounted spotlight, a tissue box, and a map light. A tune-up was performed in preparation for sale along with replacement of the battery and tires, while the braking system was refurbished, the carburetor rebuilt, and new valve cover gaskets.
The 327ci V8 was rated at 240 horsepower when new and breathes through a four-barrel carburetor that have been rebuilt. The gaskets under the finned aluminum valve covers are new. A tune-up and battery replacement were performed in preparation for sale. The two-speed Powerglide automatic transmission directs power to the rear wheels, and received a new filter and fluid.
Documentation includes an owner’s manual, a warranty booklet, period parts catalogs, and partial records. The Protect-O-Plate in the warranty booklet displays drivetrain numbers.
The cab and Fleetside bed wear an older repaint in red with a white roof on the cab, which features a small rear window as was standard for the 1967 model year.
Trim consists of chrome front and rear bumpers, bright side moldings, swing-out towing mirrors, and a non-functioning spotlight on the roof.
Body-colored 15″ steel wheels wear chrome hubcaps and beauty rings along with 235/75 Hankook Optimo rear tires and Sun Valley rubber up front.
The half-ton C10 featured coil springs at both ends, and this example is equipped with power steering.
The power-assisted braking system was refurbished with a new dual-circuit master cylinder, wheel cylinders and pistons, rear brake shoes, hoses, and parking brake spring.
The cab is trimmed in red vinyl over matching carpet protected by an older GM accessory floor mat.
Twin bucket seats flank an optional folding “buddy seat” in the center, and lap belts are available for all occupants.
Tears are noted in the driver’s seat upholstery.
Amenities consist of an optional dash-mounted clock, a Delco AM radio, and period accessories including a Chevy-logo tissue box below the dash, a glovebox-mounted map light, and twin speakers in each door panel.
The three-spoke steering wheel is covered in a perforated wrap and frames gauges monitoring oil pressure, water temperature, battery voltage, and fuel level as well as an un-numbered tachometer and a 100-mph speedometer with a five-digit odometer showing 60k miles, and total mileage is unknown.
