This 1971 GMC K1500 4x4 was subsequently underwent a body-off refurbishment which included powder coating the frame black, repainting the truck green, installing a gray leather interior, and adding a 6.0-liter Vortec V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and 3/4-ton axles.

The truck is equipped with a 6.0-liter Vortec V8 that has been modified with an open-filter intake, Doug Thorley headers, and an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans.

A leather-wrapped four-spoke steering wheel is backed by a dash painted to match the exterior.

Instrumentation from Classic Instruments includes a 200-mph speedometer, a tachometer, a clock, and auxiliary gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, voltage, and fuel level.
