This 1972 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 and was refinished in blue with white stripes over black vinyl as part of a refurbishment completed in 2020. Power comes from a 350ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission, and equipment includes a 2.5″ aftermarket exhaust system, a Hurst shifter, front and rear spoilers, chrome bumpers, sport mirrors, and an AM/FM radio with Bluetooth connectivity.
The 350ci V8 features a refurbished Holley four barrel carburetor, and service has included replacement of the water pump, engine wiring harness, fuel tank, starter, radiator and hoses, spark plugs, and gaskets.
The final seven digits of the partial VIN stamped on the engine match the final seven digits of the VIN on the cowl, and the suffix code “CKS” corresponds to a 350ci LT1 V8 with 255 horsepower and a four-speed manual transmission. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Muncie M21 four-speed manual transmission. The front subframe have been powder-coated, and a 2.5″ dual exhaust system with an x-pipe has been fitted.
It features a matching rear spoiler, a front spoiler, Z/28 badging, dual exhaust outlets, sport mirrors, chrome bumpers, window surrounds, door handles, and light bezels.
Aftermarket window tint has been applied, and additional refurbishment work included replacement of the grille, bumpers, taillight lenses, marker light lenses, rocker moldings, and badges along with the wiper motor, doors, and window frames, rollers, and moldings.
Gray-finished 15″ rally wheels were refinished and are wrapped in Firestone Wide Oval tires with raised white letters.
A full-size spare wheel is located in the trunk, and the brake pads and rotors, brake lines, shocks, and coil and leaf springs were replaced as part of the aforementioned refurbishment.
The cabin features bucket seats that were reupholstered in black vinyl along with a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets, the latter of which are protected with rubber floor mats.
Equipment includes a Hurst shifter, lap belts, and an aftermarket AM/FM radio with Bluetooth connectivity.
The headliner, door panels, carpets, and the under-dash wiring harness were replaced, the lap belts were reconditioned, and the dashboard was refurbished.
The four-spoke steering wheel frames a 130-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges.
The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 44k miles.
