The replacement 400ci V8 was bored and stroked to 455ci by McGunegill Engine Performance in 2020.
Equipment includes an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, a Cold Case aluminum radiator, and chrome valve covers.
A Hurst four-speed manual transmission was fitted in place of the factory three-speed Turbo-Hydramatic TH-400 during the 2003 refurbishment.

The five-digit odometer was reset to zero during the refurbishment and now shows just over 10k miles.
