This 1980 MG MGB Limited Edition is one of approximately 6,700 examples produced between 1979 and 1980. Finished in black over gray leather upholstery, the car is powered by a 1.8-liter inline-four linked with a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive. Equipment includes a replacement black convertible soft top, an air dam, a rear luggage rack, 14″ alloy wheels, and power-assisted front disc brakes.

The 1.8-liter BMC B-series inline-four is equipped with dual SU carburetors and K&N air cleaners and sends power to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission with electronic overdrive. The engine and transmission have been overhauled , and an oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.

The underside was degreased in preparation for the sale.

The Limited Edition MGB commemorated the final year of production, and North American examples were finished in black with silver MGB-branded side stripes.

Features include a replacement black soft top and matching top boot, a front air dam, a rear luggage rack, and black impact bumpers.

Five-spoke 14″ alloy wheels are mounted with 185/65 Goodyear Integrity tires, and a full-size spare is stored in the trunk.

Stopping is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.

Work performed in preparation for the sale have included greasing of the suspension and steering components.

The cabin features reupholstered bucket seats trimmed in gray leather with black piping as well as a black dashboard, door panels, and carpets.

A Limited Edition MG badge accents the lockable glovebox door, and additional appointments include a replacement dashboard fascia, a heater, vent windows, and MG-branded rubber floor mats.

The three-spoke steering wheel is wrapped in leather and fronts an 85-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline, an analog clock, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, and coolant temperature.

The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 55k miles.
