This 1979 International Harvester Scout II is powered by a 304ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and dual-range transfer case.

Subsequent work included rust repairs, a repaint in dark blue with white side stripes, an interior refresh with brown vinyl and plaid fabric upholstery, and replacement of the starter, alternator, steering column, water pump, rear axle, radiator, tie rod ends, brake pads, fuel pump, and fuel level sending unit.

Equipment includes a Sony stereo, a 2” lift kit, roll bar, and American Racing wheels.

The 304ci V8 is topped by a replacement two-barrel Holley carburetor, additional work have included the installation of a Kwik Wire harness, an aluminum radiator, DUI distributor, and replacement of the alternator, starter, fuel pump, fuel sending unit, water pump, valve cover gaskets, and battery cables.

Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The transmission cooler lines have been replaced.

Previously finished in light blue, the truck underwent rust repair in the doors, rear storage area, and windshield frame prior to a repaint in dark blue with white side stripes.

Polished 16” American Racing wheels are mounted with 265/75 Cooper Discoverer A/T3 tires.

The truck is equipped with Warn manually-locking front hubs, and a 2″ lift kit was installed.

Additional work have included replacement of the brake pads and various brake lines, as well as the front tie rod, tie rod ends, and drag link, and the rear axle, U-bolts, and shackles.

Replacement front bucket seats and a rear bench were reupholstered in brown vinyl with plaid fabric inserts, and additional features include SeaDek marine flooring in the rear cargo area, a roll bar, and Sony stereo wired to Herdio speakers under the dash.

A three-spoke steering wheel is mounted to a replacement steering column and sits ahead of a teak veneer-covered dash housing Equus instrumentation that includes a 160-mph speedometer and combination gauges.

The six-digit odometer shows one mile, though total mileage is unknown.
