Work included removing the body from the frame, a repaint in white, reupholstering the blue vinyl interior, and rebuilding the 389ci “Tri-Power” V8 and four-speed Hydra-Matic transmission.

The 389ci V8 was introduced for the 1959 model year, and this example is fitted with “Tri-Power” induction comprised of a trio of two-barrel carburetors.

Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed Hydra-Matic automatic transmission.

Features include quad headlamps, twin-fin rear quarter panels, a retractable antenna, fender-mounted rear view mirrors, and fender skirts.

Eight-lug 14″ wheels are mounted with BFGoodrich wide-whitewall tires.

A covered spare is mounted in the trunk, and the car is equipped with power-assisted steering and four-wheel drum brakes.

The cabin features bench seats trimmed in tri-color blue upholstery along with matching door panels.

Equipment includes air conditioning, speed alert, cruise control, and a factory AM radio with civil defense markings.

A two-spoke steering wheel features a chrome horn ring and frames a 120-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and gauges for amperage and fuel level.

The five-digit odometer shows 2k miles.
