This 1971 Triumph TR6 is finished in blue with a white soft top over black vinyl upholstery and is powered by a 2.5-liter inline-six mated to a four-speed manual transmission.

And work completed since 2020 has included a repaint, refresh of the interior, rebuilt carburetors, and replacement of the windshield, soft top, timing chain, clutch, brake master cylinder, and mufflers. Equipment includes an aluminum radiator, Crane electronic ignition, a chrome luggage rack, quad exhaust outlets, and a Sanyo cassette radio.

The 2.5-liter inline-six was factory rated at 104 horsepower and 142 lb-ft of torque and is fitted with Crane electronic ignition and an aluminum radiator. The engine mounts, timing chain, and crankshaft and camshaft gears were replaced in 2020, while the twin Zenith-Stromberg carburetors were rebuilt in 2021 and the ignition coil was replaced earlier this year.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission that was fitted with a replacement clutch, pressure plate, clutch fork, and hydraulic cylinders in 2020.

Finished from the factory in Sapphire Blue (96), the car was repainted its current shade of Galaxy Blue by English Body Works in 2020, at which time the rocker panel covers were replaced.

The top frame was also rebuilt that year, while a replacement white soft top was installed in 2021 along with a replacement windshield and seal.

Exterior features include chrome bumpers, a black boot cover, a chrome luggage rack, and quad chrome exhaust outlets.

Painted 15” steel wheels wear aluminum trim rings, TR6 center caps, and 185-width Michelin redline tires.

Stopping power is provided by front disc and rear drum brakes.

The cabin houses front bucket seats have been rebuilt and fitted with replacement black vinyl covers in 2021.

The sun visors were also replaced, along with the dash pad and carpeting.

A Union Jack shift knob has been added, and a Sanyo AM/FM/cassette radio is wired to Kenwood speakers.

A three-spoke steering wheel fronts Smiths instrumentation consisting of a 140-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges.

The five-digit odometer shows 94k miles.
