This 1978 Lincoln Mark V Diamond Jubilee Edition is one of 5,159 produced for the model year to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Ford Motor Company.

The car is finished in Diamond Blue with a color-coordinated vinyl landau roof over tufted blue cloth upholstery, and power is from a 460ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission.

Additional equipment includes 15″ turbine-style wheels, air conditioning, cruise control, power windows and door locks, and an AM/FM stereo with a Quadrasonic eight-track player.

The 460ci V8 was factory rated at 210 horsepower and 357 lb-ft of torque, and power is sent to the rear wheels via a three-speed automatic transmission.

Additional features include chrome bumpers with body-color impact strips, power-adjustable mirrors, hideaway headlights, front fender vents, and a blue vinyl landau roof with opera windows that show Diamond Jubilee Edition etchings.

Silver and blue-finished 15″ turbine-style aluminum wheels are mounted with a mixed set of 235/75 Goodyear Regatta and Hankook Optimo white-striped tires.

Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes.

The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in tufted blue cloth with a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpets.

Appointments include air conditioning, cruise control, power windows and door locks, and a push-button AM/FM stereo with a Quadrasonic eight-track player.

The two-spoke steering wheel features woodgrain accents and frames an 80-mph speedometer and a Cartier analog clock.

Fuel-level and miles-to-empty gauges are mounted in the center stack.

The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 24k miles.
