The replacement 400ci V8 was rebuilt, bored to 406ci, and fitted with LT-1 cylinder heads, 9.0:1 compression pistons, and a Stage II performance hydraulic camshaft during the refurbishment.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed 700R4 automatic transmission with overdrive.
An oil change was performed in preparation for sale.
A custom exhaust system with long tube headers and Flowmaster mufflers has also been installed.
Originally finished in Medium Green with a white roof, the truck received a two-stage repaint in a Corvette shade of Torch Red during the refurbishment in the late 1990s.
Brightwork includes chrome bumpers, side mirrors, and tailgate trim.
A PermaTech spray-on liner has been applied to the bed.
The 20” US Mags Rambler wheels feature black centers, polished lips, and Chevrolet center caps and are mounted with 275/40 Milestar tires that were installed in 2025.
The truck is equipped with power steering and front disc brakes.
The rear suspension has been lowered by approximately 3” and front and rear coil springs have been fitted.
The interior features gray leather bucket seats from a modern Chevrolet Silverado along with matching door panels and carpeting.
Amenities include power windows, a Vintage Air HVAC system, a Craig cassette stereo, a Lecarra steering wheel, and a rubber floor mat.
Instrumentation consists of a 100-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, voltage, coolant temperature, water level, and oil pressure.
The five-digit odometer shows under 4k miles, though true mileage is unknown.
