The 5.3-liter Vortec V8 was installed using a Dirty Dingo crossmember and it is fitted with a conical air filter and tubular exhaust headers.
The wiring was recently repaired.
Power is delivered to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed 4L60-E automatic transmission and a NP241 transfer case.
The Dana 44 front axle and 12-bolt limited-slip rear end are both equipped with 3.73:1 gears.
Replacement differential covers have also been added.
A replacement windshield and weatherstripping were fitted along with door and top seals, and sound deadening material has been applied to the exterior panels.
Additional work included replacing the bumpers, rear tailgate, door hinges, and headlight, also a replacement grille, moldings, and lighting.
The removable double-walled fiberglass hardtop, a concealed tow hitch has been fitted along with LED lighting, and the tailgate movement is assisted by gas struts.
Aftermarket 15″ ATX wheels fitted with 35″ BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires, and a Saginaw variable ratio power-steering system sourced from Lee’s Power Steering is also fitted.
The truck is equipped with a 4″ lift kit and power-assisted front disc brakes.
The cabin is fitted with replacement black leather Corbeau bucket seats up front, a Tahoe-sourced fold-down rear bench, 1972 model-year door panels, three-point seat belts, and a refurbished center console equipped with USB receptacles.
The body-colored dashboard houses a RetroSound stereo and a Vintage Air climate control system.
A roll bar has been added, and a previously fitted floor-mounted shifter has been moved to the steering column.
The wood-accented multi-spoke steering wheel sits ahead Dakota instrumentation consisting of a 160-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for voltage, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level.
The five-digit odometer shows 20 miles, though actual mileage is unknown.
