The fuel-injected 7.0-liter “LS427/570” V8 crate engine was installed during the build, and it is equipped with a cold-air intake and conical air filter along with stainless-steel headers linked to a custom exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers.
Additional equipment includes an aluminum radiator fitted with electric cooling fans and a GM-sourced starter, alternator, and accessory drive components.
Power is routed to the rear wheels via a 4L75E Supermatic four-speed automatic transmission, a Denny’s Driveshafts-sourced driveshaft, and a Ford 9″ rear end with a 3.50:1 limited-slip differential.
The body was repainted in its current shade of metallic gray during the build by Stofa’s Auto and Collision, the floor pans, rocker panels, cab corners, doors, and window glass were replaced at that time.
Additional features include a 1968 C10-style hood, grille, and front fenders as well as chrome bumpers and LS7 badging on the tailgate and front fenders.
The replacement bed assembly features tubbed rear wheel wells, and a fuel filler cap is mounted in the steel floor.
The truck rides on a No Limit Engineering chassis assembly with adjustable Ridtech coilovers at each corner.
US Mags 18″ alloy wheels are fitted with 235/55 front and 245/55 rear Nitto tires.
The truck is equipped with a Detroit Speed power-assisted rack and pinion kit, and braking is handled by four-wheel discs.
The interior is outfitted with a black dash pad and door-panel trim along with a replacement bench sourced from Snowden Custom Seats and trimmed in black with plaid inserts.
The three-spoke steering wheel is mounted to a tilting column, and additional features include a climate-control system sourced from Classic Auto Air, shoulder restraints, and a Custom Autosound stereo.
Replacement carpeting is fitted over a layer of sound insulation and covered with protective plastic.
A collection of Dakota Digital gauges are recessed behind a stock-style bezel and feature a digital odometer indicating that approximately 1,100 miles have been driven since completion of the build.
True mileage is unknown.
