This 1950 Ford F-47 is a Canadian-market pickup that is finished in two-tone green and black over brown upholstery and is powered by a 239ci flathead V8 paired with a three-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes wood bed stakes, a wood-lined bed floor, lap belts, a 12-volt electrical system, driving lights, 16″ steel wheels, a Holley carburetor, and a heater. The truck was refurbished in the late 1990s and was acquired by the current owner approximately a decade ago.
The 239ci flathead V8 was factory rated at 100 horsepower and features a block heater as well as a 12-volt electrical conversion with an alternator in place of the factory generator. The Holley 94 carburetor was rebuilt and an oil change performed in preparation for the sale.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a three-speed manual transmission.
The truck was repainted in green with black fenders in the late 1990s, and equipment includes running boards, a wood-lined bed floor, wood bed stakes, black bumpers, driving lights, and quarter vent windows. Bullet hole-style decals have been added to the left front fender and driver’s door.
The 16″ black-painted steel wheels wear chrome trim rings and Ford-branded hubcaps, and they are mounted with 6.5-16 Tornel tires. Braking is handled by drums at each corner. The master cylinder and wheel cylinders were reportedly replaced in preparation for the sale.
The cabin features a bench seat upholstered in brown, along with body-color metal surfaces. Lap belts are fitted for two occupants, and the truck is equipped with a heater.
The three-spoke steering wheel fronts a 100-mph speedometer and gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, battery voltage, and coolant temperature. An aftermarket gauge is fitted below the dash. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 2,500 miles, and total mileage is unknown.
